Hello & Welcome to my website. On this page, you can learn a bit about me and some of the events of my life.
I grew up in New York City, where, at 16, I was the youngest member of the Gay Liberation Front from 1970-1972.
The photo below is of the first ever large Gay March (which eventually morphed into LGBTQ Pride Parades.)
I am in front on the far right. (Not politically though.)
In 1973, I moved to San Francisco, where I met the father of my 2 sons. In 1994, my sons and I attended the huge March on Washington for LGBTQ Equal Rights and Liberation
Politics, play, pride and poetry were always a part of my life.
Here I am at left one Halloween during my dozen years as a
CFS social worker.
Later I became a child therapist for 13 years.
In 2015, with about a dozen others, I cofounded Richmond Rainbow Pride.
Below, starting from left, I am reading poetry at the first annual
Richmond Rainbow Pride Event in 2015, and again later in 2025,
at the Trans March 2025 and reading poetry again at the
Richmond Rainbow Pride Event in 2026.
In 2023, after almost two decades together,
I married the love of my life,
who still makes me so happy,
even in hard times like these.
